THE YARD SHEPHERD
Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of The Yard Shepherd website, quote requests, and availability requests.
Last updated: July 30, 2026
Agreement to these terms
By using this website or submitting a quote or availability form, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit the form.
Quote and availability requests
A quote or availability request is free, does not require payment, and does not create a service contract or guarantee service, timing, route placement, pricing, promotions, or availability.
Service details and any customer agreement will be provided separately before paid service begins. This includes pricing, scheduling, property-access policies, and final availability. You will have an opportunity to review the applicable service terms before purchasing service. You may unsubscribe from email updates at any time.
Service communications
If you provide email consent, we may send updates relating to service, availability, and next steps. The current form does not authorize marketing text messages. You may unsubscribe from email updates at any time.
Service and access information
Friendly dogs may remain in the service area when conditions are safe and the dog has never shown signs of aggression. If a loose dog begins showing aggressive behavior during a visit, the customer may be asked to bring the dog inside and properly secure them before service continues. If an aggressive dog is not properly secured, The Yard Shepherd may skip the yard or service visit for safety. Customers must also provide safe, approved gate or property access. A locked, inaccessible, or unsafe area may prevent a visit from being completed.
Collected waste is hauled away after service rather than left in the customer's trash bin. Cleanup equipment is disinfected between properties using a kennel-grade disinfectant according to labeled directions. The gate is checked before departure. Yard Fresh odor control is not currently offered.
Accurate information
You agree to provide information that is accurate and belongs to you, and to update us if important request details change. You may not submit another person’s contact information without permission.
Permitted use
You may use this website for personal or legitimate business inquiries about The Yard Shepherd. You may not attempt to disrupt the website, evade security controls, submit unlawful or abusive material, scrape the site at unreasonable volume, or use the site to violate another person’s rights.
Website content
The Yard Shepherd name, branding, graphics, copy, and other original website content are owned by The Yard Shepherd or used with permission. You may not copy, publish, or commercially exploit that content without written permission, except as allowed by law.
Third-party services and links
The website relies on third-party hosting, storage, and email services and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or independent practices of third parties, and their terms and privacy policies may apply when you use their services.
Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but information may change and the website may occasionally be interrupted or contain errors. The website and availability requests are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Service timing and availability are confirmed for each property before service begins.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, The Yard Shepherd will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and termination
We may update the website or these terms as operating practices and legal obligations change. The revised terms will be posted here with an updated date. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, users, or our rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Applicable federal law also applies.
